How does "Pay What You Can" actually work?

It means I aim to make as many events and resources accessible as possible regardless of your budget. If you can afford to contribute the suggested £5 or £12 tier, your support keeps the initiative running. If you are not in a position to pay, you are just as welcome to attend for free without any questions asked.

Are events online, in-person, or both?

A mix! Regular community movie nights and casual hangouts take place online inside the Discord server, making them accessible globally. I also host physical community gatherings as opportunities arise.

Do I need to sign up in advance to join Discord hangouts?

Not at all. You can hop into the Discord server whenever you like, drop into event channels, or just hang back and read along until you feel comfortable participating.

Where does financial support go?

All contributions go straight into platform costs, hosting, community bots, event hosting resources, and keeping as many of the spaces as possible free of paywalls.
